Power Point

It's my task to put together the group PowerPoint for tomorrow's biz class presentation-- took longer than I thought. I'm not as familiar with MS Office 2007, and got frustrated this morning changing one gp member's slides to coordinate with the "prettified" slides I did last night on my laptop with Office 2003. I didn't spend much time on the latter, which was chucked and a "theme" adopted instead.
Burger Night last night was better. I am, however, proud of myself for leaving earlier than the rest of the group. I feel strange doing that, that it seems snotty or something, but it was already 11:30pm, and I knew I need time to work on PPoint.
I took a sick day today because I didn't feel well starting last night-- lethargic, slight head and stomach aches. Leaves me more time to finish, prepare, and be rested for tomorrow's presentation. Ironic I take a sick day while working on a "healthcare reform" project!

Friday "Blueberry blitz"

Second time getting that shake at the gym. I got a card where if I buy 9, get one free. And it was punched twice.. sweet. But they're kind-of expensive, and I know I could make them myself if I took the time and effort.
Today is a friend's bday. We made plans to have lunch Sunday. I need to work on my paper, but know I need to make time to be social.
Got a cold sore on my lip.. hate that. Shows how stressed I've been.

l'été s'en va

(The summer is going by)
Hopefully, in the future I can look back on the summer I was 24, that wasn't really a summer because I work evenings, and think "Yes, it was an unhappy time, but it got better."
Really sucky 2/4 group members aren't pulling their weight; we present in a week.
Was lethargic today (maybe avoidance of my paper) but must be productive.

Crankiness

Plumb forgot about 12:30 Pilates class today (I've gone the last 2 Sundays), but tanned (barely) at the pool and swam laps. I still feel antsy and thought of going to gym now, but I'm clean, don't want to get sweaty, and have class tomorrow morn (will be early this time!).
Ugh, what is with 30/40 yr old men msging me on the meetup.com site? I want younger men!
I went on a grocery store trip to (avoid HW and) get sparkling water. I forgot that store only carries the small bottle of Perrier and Seltzer, so instead I got some delightfully salty frozen snacks, such as smiley-face potato snacks to help combat the crankiness in blog title.

I'm officially a concierge bitch

"bitch" as in I do others' crap work. Referring to, I ordered pizza last night for someone. Actually, it was kind-of fun for the first time, but reminds me, wtf is this? I don't care about getting people shit they can get themselves.
I like talking to Canadian men for some reason. I wanna go to Novia Scotia. So fun to say.

Job listing

Way to go Washington Post.. in the weekly email I asked them to send me, I'm given "Refrigeration Technician" as a suitable job listing.
I'm annoyed I didn't accomplish more this week while my mom and sis were away. Still have my 2 HW assignments and some work on rough-draft paper for group project. Just let it be over! I value my sleep too much. Can't believe the prof hasn't graded/ given comments on our first 3 assignments; I kind-of like to have feedback.
